china guardian2 China Guardian Advance Into Hong Kong Art Market   artmarketblog.comIn a major advance for the mainland Chinese art market, China Guardian Auctions Co., Ltd. have announced that they will be launching their first auction series in Hong Kong through their subsidiary company Guardian Auctions (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. which is wholly-owned by China Guardian.

Wang Yannan, director and president of China Guardian says this is the first step in expanding the company’s international business. “We plan to hold the first auction in fall 2012. Hong Kong is Asia’s financial center, and is also an international free trade port. We believe that Hong Kong will provide the impetus to our company’s business. Hong Kong has convenient transportation; the business environment there has special advantages, in order to meet the needs of overseas customers,” she said.

“We also hope that we can gain some advanced international experience and insight into new operating styles that will enable us to make bigger profits and provide convenient and thoughtful service to collectors worldwide,” Wang added.

China Guardian Auction (Hong Kong) was formally established in May 2011. It will hold the first auction in early October 2012. Recently, the China Guardian’s consignment for the second half of 2012 began. The second half of the auction year will deliver high quality lots and provide thoughtful service to welcome collectors.
