In your article, you described some poor choices in the Sydney show as &quot;decorative&quot; work.  In the art world, is decorative synonymous with &quot;bad art&quot; or otherwise unworthy of a second glance?  (aka art-snob code lingo for &quot;run far away quickly&quot;?)  If you or someone  reading this could alleve my fears on this point with my own work (yes, a gallery owner in Boston did say it to me and I didn&#039;t know any better) I would greatly appreciate it so I can change course or get out of the business completely.
