Allison Grant at Humble Arts Foundation – artmarketblog.com
The Humble Arts Foundation have just released a fantastic new photo by Allison Grant called “untitled (tie to ice). As with all of Humble Arts offerings, this photo has been released in a very small signed and numbered edition of five each measuring 17×22 inches. The edition size of this particular work is smaller than the usual edition size of ten so considering the price of $450 it is extremely good value. Having bought several editions from the Humble Arts Foundation I can vouch that the works they sell have all been carefully selected and are of extremely good quality. Further more, the price of the works offered are what I would call extremely generous and below what the market value should be. Previous artists whose works have been included in the Humble Arts Catalogue such as Amy Stein and Cory Arnold have gone on to find major success and art world fame.
According to the Humble Arts Website, Allison Grant is a Chicago based photographer who was born in 1981 in Cincinnati, OH and is currently working towards an MFA from Columbia college. Grant’s work has been exhibited at many different galleries in America such as the SPringfield Museum of Art and the Contemporary Arts Centre in Cincinatti, Oh. Works by Grant are held in Portland Public Art Collection as well as many private collections.
