Very informative article! It is difficult to find the answers when searching for investors. I have gone so far as to write the Pope for support in this massive religious painting I have been creating for the past 11 years...my masterpiece! My personal investment has exceeded $200,000.00 and a massive sacrifice of my personal life yet I am prepared to continue until the release of this painting in December 2010. I envision massive income return and a sacrifice which will change my life, make history and change some things we thought we knew about art, religion and politics.
I had solicited a few corporations but prehaps was somewhat unprepared or lacking marketing principles in my approach initially. Just as I state I am not religious but learning to make my own decisions, I am also learning the ropes as I go when it comes to marketing a masterpiece. It is hard work, a full time job all in itself!

Dear Jim,

Thanks for your comment. There are so many great magazines out there that I had to leave some out that were either less relevant to art investors or the information they provided was already covered in another publication. Fine Art Connoisseur is a great magazine and is definately worth reading but it just didn't fit in my list.

Regards,

Nicholas Forrest
